2011 has finally come to an end. I wish everyone will have a blessed 2012. Happy New Year.
Looking back, I spent most of the time on my National Service commitments. Nevertheless, it has been a year filled with blessings and joy.
I completed a full marathon and will be looking forward to many more in the future.
I resisted love. The past kept me from loving, but it also kept me from getting hurt.
Dear God,
Thank You for making 2011 a year filled with abundance and goodness. I pray that you will continue to bless my family, my friends, and I in the year to come.

Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2011 Leaders’ Appreciation Dinner
Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2011 Leaders’ Appreciation Dinner was held at Vivo City’s Golden Village. The programme kicked off with a buffet dinner followed by some games and lastly, a movie screening.
Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol is definitely a movie worth watching. The movie is packed with action and the characters used very advanced gadgets that will amaze you. Other than the great movie, I had a good time catching up with my friends. I have not met some of them for a long time and it is always a pleasure to be able to meet up once again.

Chingay Parade Singapore 2012 Leaders' Training
Another week of travelling to the west for my friends and I.
For training today, everyone had their groups changed. My new group name is ‘Hera’. We played lesser games than the first training session and had scenario based learning to equip us with skills for the event day.

Chingay Parade Singapore 2012 Leaders' Training
Chingay Parade Singapore 2012 Leaders’ Training was held at Swiss Cottage Secondary School. Well, the training venue is at Bukit Batok which is probably the worst place the committee could think off. Being located in such a secluded part of the island, I cannot see why the committee decided to hold the training there.
Apart from the long travelling, the training was pretty fun. My group is called ‘Pluto’. The people in my group were not the most enthusiastic people, but we still bothered to cheer along and make the best of the training session.
The highlight of the training for me was having camouflage cream put on my face. This is the first time in my life that I have camouflage cream on my face, but it was a forfeit.

Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2011
Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2011 is organised by the Singapore Sports Council. It is Singapore’s marquee running event and is one of the highlights of the local sports calendar for 2011.
The event will feature three different start points and routes for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km Race, showcasing Singapore’s iconic landmarks and neighbourhoods. The Full Marathon route will take runners through places like Chinatown, East Coast Park, Esplanade, Orchard Road, and the Singapore Flyer.
